Oakbridge Primary School

We are delighted to be delivering the After School Sports Clubs for pupils of Oakbridge Primary School, Northallerton.

The After School Sports Club programme commenced in January 2026 offering basketball, football and mini movers. This has developed and grown to include multi sports (hockey, tag rugby and dodgeball), summer multi sports, basketball and football. These activities will change throughout the year to give children the opportunity to learn new sports.

These sessions are for Year 1 (Blossom) and Year 2 (Beech) pupils of Oakbridge Primary School only.

We are excited to offer this programme which is designed to develop sports related skills, teamwork and, most importantly, encourage fun through sport! These sessions are currently open to all students in Year 1 and Year 2. The courses will run half termly (approximately 6 week blocks) from 15.30 to 16.30.

Please ensure your child has sports clothes / school PE kit to change into, including suitable indoor/outdoor footwear (trainers), a drinks bottle and a small snack.

What to expect:

  • A variety of fun, age-appropriate sports and activities
  • Professional and enthusiastic coaching
  • Focus on physical development, confidence, and sportsmanship
  • Safe and inclusive environment for all abilities

Whether your child loves to run, jump, throw, or simply play with friends, our after school sports sessions are a great way for them to move their bodies, learn new skills, and release energy in a positive setting.
