We are delighted to launch After School Club activities at Applegarth Primary School, Northallerton, for its Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils.
Starting in September 2026 for KS1 pupils, we will be offering a Multi-Sports After School Club which will be followed after October Half-Term by a KS2 Basketball After School Club.The KS1 Multi Sports club will include sports such as hockey, basketball, tag rugby, playground games and athletics, while the KS2 Basketball Club will include sessions such as dribbling, passing, 1v1 / 2v2 duals and mini games.
This programme is designed to develop sports related skills, teamwork and, most importantly, encourage fun through sport! The courses will run as follows:
Autumn Term 1 for KS1 Multi Sports
- Dates: Wednesday 16, 23 and 30 Sept, 7, 14 and 21 October 2026
- Time: 15:30 to 16:30
Summer Term 2 for KS2 Basketball
- Dates: Tuesday 3, 10, 17 and 24 November, 1 and 8 December 2026
- Time: 15:30 to 16:30
Please ensure your child has sports clothes / school PE kit to change into, including suitable indoor footwear (trainers or pumps) and a drinks bottle.

- Professional and enthusiastic coaching led by David Harrison-Jones
- Focus on physical development, confidence, and sportsmanship
- Safe and inclusive environment for all abilities
Whether your child loves to run, jump, throw, or simply play with friends, our after school sports sessions are a great way for them to move their bodies, learn new skills, and release energy in a positive setting.
How do I book?
These sessions are only open to Applegarth Primary School pupils. Bookings go live for Autumn Term 1 on Friday 31 July 2026 at 8pm. Bookings for Autumn Term 2 will go live Friday 2 October 2026 at 8pm.
