Current opportunities
We have opportunities for freelance instructors in 2027 as we look to grow our team and expand our weekly After School Sports Club and School Holiday Clubs. These roles will be based in Northallerton:
- After School Club Sports Coach: 3.15pm – 4:45pm, up to 2 days per week term time
- School Holiday Club Lead: 8am – 5.30pm, selected dates during school holidays
Prior experience, relevant qualifications, DBS and insurance are essential for these roles. These roles are on a self-employed basis.
Key requirements
- Relevant qualifications and insurance: minimum National Governing Body Level 2 Award in Coaching, First Aid qualification and relevant insurance
- Experience: background working with young people in sports
- Logistics: full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Safeguarding: Safeguarding & Protecting Children Certificate and enhanced DBS check
This would suit a coach looking for addtional hours alongside other work/college commitments.

We’re always looking for like-minded and enthusiastic individuals to join our team to support the delivery of fun and engaging children’s clubs, either after school or during school holidays – or both!
Prior experience and relevant qualifications are a bonus but not essential – just a passion for staying active and inspiring the next generation to enjoy sports and the outdoors.
