We are delighted to be delivering the before and after school club activities at Oakbridge Primary School, Northallerton, for its pupils.
In September 2025, we started delivering the Before School programme with the aim of not only supporting the children of working parents, but introducing various sports and activities to the pupils.
We are aiming to begin the After School Club programme in the coming weeks.
Before School programme
The before school programme will support pupils to get ready for the school day, beginning at 07:45. Most days we do some yoga and a story time before activities such as spelling games, maths challenges, team challenges and circle time discussions.
Children attending the before school programme will need to wear school uniform and have their gym shoes and coat to hand. If children want to bring a breakfast snack or fruit, they are more than welcome to do so.
How do I book?
These sessions are only open to Oakbridge Primary School pupils. To book, please do so via the MCAS app.
After School programme
We are excited to offer After School Sports Club Sessions which are designed to develop sports related skills, teamwork and, most importantly, encourage fun through sport! These sessions will be open to all students in Reception (Acorn) and Year 1 (Blossom). To help get this programme up and running, we would appreciate your feedback on which sports and which days of the week you would prefer. The courses will run half termly (approximately 6 week blocks) from 15.15 to 16.15.
What to Expect:
- A variety of fun, age-appropriate sports and activities
- Professional and enthusiastic coaching led by David Harrison-Jones (David currently runs some of the Before School clubs)
- Focus on physical development, confidence, and sportsmanship
- Safe and inclusive environment for all abilities
Whether your child loves to run, jump, throw, or simply play with friends, our after school sports sessions are a great way for them to move their bodies, learn new skills, and release energy in a positive setting.
